Circulation Officer

We are currently recruiting for a circulation officer to be responsible for the day-to-day operations related to customer care and campaign coordination of print and digital subscriptions, renewals, and the distribution of University Affairs/Affaires universitaires (UA/AU) – THE source of information about and for Canada’s university community. The incumbent will also serve as the primary liaison with external suppliers and be responsible for providing accurate and timely reporting on the audience development.

Education, experience and knowledge

  • College diploma with relevant business specialization.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience working in customer service.
  • Prior experience in publishing sector, an asset.
  • Advanced computer skills, specifically in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel software programs.
  • Familiarity with databases and data entry.

Skills & Abilities

  • Aptitude for data analysis and reporting.
  • Bilingualism.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • High degree of judgment, discretion and insight.

The position is based in Ottawa, Ontario. Universities Canada has adopted a hybrid work model where employees are expected to work in the office a minimum of two (2) days a week. 

The hiring salary range for this position is from $55,965 to $65,584 depending on experience.  Candidates who do not meet all of the position requirements may be considered in an underfill capacity, in which case the candidate would be hired at a lower level than the position level.
