Biography

Philip Landon is chief operating officer at Universities Canada. He is responsible for the association’s strategic planning and implementation and oversees the program, policy, external and member relations, information management and governance functions. Philip is also leading Universities Canada’s national climate initiative.

Philip has over 30 years’ experience in the higher education, international development, and governance sectors. His work has focused on shaping organizations and partnerships to effectively design and deliver programs and initiatives that create and share knowledge to improve lives. He brings strategic insight grounded in experience to all his work.
