It’s convocation season at universities across Canada: a time to recognize, celebrate and reflect on the remarkable achievements of this year’s university graduates.

The Class of 2020 has shown resilience and perseverance during unprecedented times. As future innovators, educators, entrepreneurs and changemakers, this year’s graduates will play an essential role in building a stronger country and accelerating Canada’s economic and social recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Though universities may not be able to celebrate their graduates in-person this year, this important milestone will be marked through virtual ceremonies and celebrations hosted by universities across the country over the coming weeks.
