Ryerson University’s Diversity Institute drives inclusive innovation across sectors

The Diversity Institute at Ryerson’s Ted Rogers School of Management conducts and coordinates multi-disciplinary, multi-stakeholder research to address the needs of diverse Canadians and support their economic inclusion and success.

In 2017 alone, the institute secured $8 million in new funding and shared over 90 presentations and papers. Research areas of the institute include diversity and inclusion, entrepreneurship and innovation, and future skills.

The Diversity Institute also takes a collaborative approach, undertaking projects with over 150 new partners in 2017. Current projects include the Newcomer Entrepreneurship Hub, the Women’s Entrepreneurship Hub, and the Ontario Inclusive Innovation Strategy.
