Trent University partners with national non-profit Katimavik to support reconciliation and intercultural learning

A new partnership between Trent University and Katimavik aims to support Indigenous learners and foster intercultural learning. The partnership will bring together Trent’s academic resources and Katimavik’s unique Indigenous Youth in Transition approach.

Working together for mutual benefit, Trent will become a formal teaching partner for Katimavik youth programs and share educational expertise and Katimavik will assist in in promoting Trent as a place of learning for Indigenous youth.

The partners hope that creating opportunities for collaboration and intercultural learning will be part of active reconciliation.
