Canada's university community mourns

Canada’s universities extend their deepest condolences to everyone touched by the crash of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 in Iran.

The losses are devastating and the effects on Canadian campuses and communities are far-reaching. Many of the passengers were our students, staff, faculty and alumni.

We think of each person—full of potential, aspirations and curiosity. Each was making a difference, changing lives and improving our world. Their stories show we are profoundly interconnected as a community, and we will forever cherish their memory.

In remembrance
